Gator baseball sweeps Missouri: Florida swept the No. 23 Tigers this weekend in Columbia, picking up three crucial road wins. The Gators started with a 4-3 win on Faedo Friday . On Singer Saturday, they clinched the series with a 2-1 victory over Mizzou, in which the Tigers were limited to just three hits and one run. Florida finished off the sweep yesterday with another 2-1 win . The Gators have now won seven of their past eight games, with six of those wins coming over ranked opponents. Florida softball sweeps Arkansas: The No. 2 Gators swept their weekend series with the No. 24 Razorbacks in Fayetteville. Florida began the weekend in historic fashion, earning the program’s 1,000th win with a 6-1 effort on Friday . The Gators followed up that performance by blanking the Hogs on Saturday, 8-0 , to clinch the series. Florida closed out the weekend with a 6-1 victory yesterday , and recorded their third ten-plus hit game of their last four. (Herb Brooks, Florida Gators)

Gator gymnastics wins Gainesville Regional, advances to NCAA Championships: Florida earned their sixth consecutive NCAA Regional title on Saturday, and will advance to their 35th NCAA Championships. The Gators are in NCAA Semifinal II , and will compete with Alabama, Georgia, LSU, Michigan, and Nebraska in the six-team field.
