Florida baseball drops second game to Florida Gulf Coast, 3-2: The Gators pick up another midweek loss, falling to FGCU in back-to-back outings. Florida (10-4) was unable to rally against the Eagles (12-2), who held a 3-1 advantage much of the game. The Gators took a 1-0 lead in the first but were unable to mount an attempt at an offensive comeback until the ninth. A diving catch by FGCU eliminated Florida’s chance to tie the game.
