Florida may get some injured players back for the bowl game: Jim McElwain said that there was a chance that Luke Del Rio and Alex Anzalone could be available to play in the Outback Bowl. Randy Shannon officially named interim defensive coordinator for Outback Bowl: The move was already heavily reported , but Jim McElwain officially announced it on Monday. As previously reported, Mark DeBastiani, a defensive quality control assistant, will coach linebackers for the bowl. McElwain also noted that Shannon is “absolutely” a candidate for the full-time DC job.
