Nine Gators Set for NFL Divisional Weekend Action

Keanu Neal and the Falcons host Seattle on Saturday afternoon. GAINESVILLE, Fla. – The NFL Playoffs are in full swing, with four games on tap for this weekend during the Divisional round. Nine former Gator football players are still active with a shot to play in Super Bowl 51 on February 5 in Houston, Texas.

Florida has had a former player on a Super Bowl roster for 14 straight years, dating back to the 2003 season when offensive linemen Kenyatta Walker and Lomas Brown helped the Tampa Bay Buccaneers beat Mo Collins and the Oakland Raiders in Super Bowl XXXVII.

Seattle Seahawks at Atlanta Falcons, Saturday (4:35 p.m. // FOX)
Defensive backs Keanu Neal , Brian Poole and the Atlanta Falcons had a bye last weekend and will host the Seahawks on Saturday, who dominated the Detroit Lions in a 26-6 win last Saturday. This contest will be the second meeting between the Seahawks and Falcons this year. Seattle won the first contest 26-24 at CenturyLink Field, a game that came down to the wire.

Neal, who played and started in 14 games this season, recorded 106 tackles and five forced fumbles, which both rank second on the team. In addition, Neal tallied nine pass deflections. Meanwhile, Poole played in all 16 games this season and started nine of them. The undrafted rookie totaled 59 tackles, 10 pass deflections, one sack and one interception during the regular season. Brian Poole has been key to the Falcons success all season. Houston Texans at New England Patriots, Saturday (8:15 p.m. // CBS)
The New England Patriots will host the Houston Texans in an AFC Divisional Playoff game at Gillette Stadium on Saturday at 8:15pm ET. The Houston Texans defeated the Oakland Raiders 27-14 to advance to the divisional round of the playoffs.

New England faced Houston in Week 3 of the regular season, a 27-0 win over the Texans with former Gator Jacoby Brissett starting at quarterback for the then-suspended Tom Brady.

Green Bay Packers at Dallas Cowboys, Sunday (4:40 p.m. // FOX)
The Dallas Cowboys will host the Green Bay Packers in an NFC Divisional Playoff game at AT&T Stadium on Sunday at 4:40pm ET. The Packers defeated the New York Giants 38-13 to advance to the divisional round of the playoffs.

Dallas faced Green Bay in Week 6 of the regular season, a 30-16 win over the Packers. Chaz Green , who played in four games and started two during the regular season, will miss the entire playoffs for the Cowboys after being placed on injured reserve in October.

Pittsburgh Steelers at Kansas City Chiefs, Sunday (8:20 p.m. // NBC)
Wide receiver Demarcus Robinson and the Kansas City Chiefs got an opening-round bye. Marcus Gilbert , Maurkice Pouncey and the Steelers won convincingly over Miami last weekend, defeating the Dolphins 30-12 behind a 167 rushing yards from Le’Veon Bell and 124 receiving yards from Antonio Brown.
