(Photo: Brad Penner, USA TODAY Sports) After a run to the Elite Eight in 2017 during coach Mike White ‘s second season at the helm at Florida, the Gators are getting love as an early national title favorite next season.
The latest futures from VegasInsider.com have Florida among the 10 programs with the best odds to win the national title in 2017-18.
Florida will return a large corps of its lineup, led by star shooting guard KeVaughn Allen . Also back are point guard Chris Chiozza and big men Kevarrius Hayes and John Egbunu .
There’s little doubt the Gators will have to replace some key production, though, with point guard Kasey Hill , forward Devin Robinson and excellent sixth man Canyon Barry all gone. But after seeing White coach his team to success a year ago, Vegas seems bought in.
Below are the current futures to win the national title next season.

7/1 – North Carolina
7/1 – Duke
8/1 – Arizona
8/1 – Kentucky
12/1 – Kansas
14/1 – Villanova
16/1 – Missouri
20/1 – Florida
20/1 – Gonzaga
20/1 – Wichita State
